About
This is a scrapbook of (mostly) wine thoughts.
Subscribing to the view that verbs are more important than adjectives in describing wines, I am developing a habit of matching wine with pictures and music: a little collection of fleeting evocative moments.
Having been to the harvest in California in 2010, I have since experienced winter pruning in Virginia, and I’ve been to the Barossa for vintage 2011.
I have an Advanced Certificate from the WSET, and working on the Diploma. I have started a search for a vineyard and have blended my first barrel of wine from Bordeaux.
Before wine, I was an accidental investment banker for 12 years. I also have a PhD in Aeronautics. And I am a surfer.
